“Water, flour and tomato” – a collaboration with BR1 – Torino – 2013
“Acqua, farina e pomodoro” –  in collaborazione con BR1 – Torino – 2013

A fast action in which the two artists, disguised as advertising company employees, simulate to
clean the glass of a big light billboard, but they make it dirty with a mixture of water, flour and
tomato. 
The aim is to obscure the commercial advertising. In this way, the billboard looks opaque and lose
his function. The action intend to reflect upon the relation between advertisement and urban
landscape.

Un’azione rapida in cui i due artisti, travestiti da addetti all’affissione, simulano di pulire il vetro di
un grande pannello luminoso, sporcandolo con un miscuglio di acqua, farina e pomodoro.
 L’obiettivo è quello di offuscare la pubblicità commerciale. Il pannello, divenuto opaco, perde così
tutta la sua funzione originaria, spingendo ad una riflessione sul rapporto fra pubblicità e 
paesaggio urbano.
